River Bend Boat Club would like to thank all those Boat Club Members and Non-Boat Club Members who helped remove boats and docks from the river over the several days that it took to get them out, there was some frustration on how long the line was to get them out, but everyone worked together to get it done. Thank you all River Bend Boat Club (RBBC)

AS OF 9‐9‐21 THERE HAVE BEEN 25 CITATIONS ISSUED. AS THE SEASON COMES TO A CLOSE PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY WHAT TIME WE HAVE LEFT WHILE THE PARK IS STILL OPEN.  I MEAN THAT LITERALLY THERE HAVE BEEN GOLF CART ACCIDENTS AND SOME SERIOUS INJURIES.   SECURITY WOULD LIKE TO WISH A SPEEDY RECOVERY TO THOSE INJURED AND ASK EVERYONE TO PLEASE SLOW DOWN IN THE PARK, YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE, THIS MAY NOT STOP ALL THE ACCIDENTS BUT IT IS A START.   PLEASE BE SAFE THIS WEEKEND

SET-UP @8 AM-10 NOON Judging @5pm
Contestants provide food and all supplies!
(Samples for at least 10 judges)
Public tastings will be determined by participants.
Deadline to Sign up is Sept 18th in the Office.
Trophies Awarded for all categories 1st, 2nd, 3rd place!

It is imperative that we clear the scene when there is an emergency happening.   The Fire Dept sent the below law.  When asked to leave an area please do so immediately.
 
2012 West Virginia Code
CHAPTER 16. PUBLIC HEALTH
ARTICLE 4C. EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ACT.
§16-4C-19. Obstructing or causing bodily injury to emergency medical service personnel; criminal penalties.
 
Universal Citation: WV Code § 16-4C-19 (through 1st Spec. Sess. 2012)

(a) It is unlawful for any person to intentionally obstruct or interfere with any emergency medical service agency personnel engaged in the act of delivering or administering emergency medical services. Any person violating the provisions of this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars or confined in the county or regional jail for a period not more than one year, or both fined and confined.
 
(b) It is unlawful for any person to willfully cause bodily injury to any person designated to be an emergency medical personnel engaged in the act of delivering or administering emergency medical services. Any person violating the provisions of this subsection is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction thereof, shall be confined in a state correctional facility not less than one nor more than ten years or fined not more than five thousand dollars, or both fined and confined.
 
(c) Nothing in this section may be construed to prevent law-enforcement officials from controlling traffic and otherwise maintaining order at the scene of an accident, injury or illness where an emergency medical service agency is rendering services.
 
(d) No person may willfully fail or refuse to comply with a lawful order or direction of any emergency medical service agency personnel engaged in the act of delivering or administering emergency medical services, relating to directing, controlling or regulating traffic, so long as such order or direction is conveyed by a retro-reflective hand signing device.
 
Any person violating the provisions of this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof:
 
(1) For a first offense shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars;
 
(2) for a second offense occurring within one year of a previous conviction shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars; and
 
(3) for a third and subsequent offense shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars.
