Security Status Update
Posted on Mar 7th, 2021
Security has been fairly busy this offseason.  We have maintained our usual patrol of the park during this offseason, ensuring the security of our member's personal property.  While doing our patrols we have noticed some violations and have addressed them as such.  Most of the issues this year do not pertain to any criminal activities but more administrative and policy infractions.  Examples of this are members knowingly (and unknowingly) performing altercations to their property without proper A&E approval.  In most cases, this is addressed long before any real work takes place.  The guards have been very quick and accurate confirming if a member has proper permits to begin any work.  Other issues that security has noticed are basic off-season issues such as fallen trees on the property, damage from snow and ice, and high winds.  When security notices this or is informed of this we have been very quick to notify the affected members.

ISSUE ... Will not let you register to use the app. Only blinks and goes back to original screen.
Posted on Feb 23rd, 2021
I verified the form does process as it should. I did notice one thing though when I failed to check the "Renew Season Pass" box. When I did click enter WITHOUT checking that required box ... the form did indeed blink and defaulted back to the original screen. It took me two tries before I noticed a "red note (top left of my screen) that advised me to select the "Renew Season Pass" box. Sure enough, I did see I missed it. Once I checked and clicked enter the Form did process. Sort of a "bug" that hard to see "red note". Unfortunately, I can't correct it. We'll just have to pass the word that when the Form "Only blinks and goes back to the original screen" there is missing information.

New in 2021, River Bend Text_Alert
Posted on Feb 21st, 2021
Email open rates are roughly 20 percent, text messages have an open rate of 98 percent.  Texting comes pre-built on mobile phones and, unlike email, is available at the river even without a WiFi connection, which makes texting a more accessible medium for members. Unlike emails, texts aren't buried underneath spam.  New in 2021, River Bend Text_Alert is a very basic service providing notification via Short Message Service (Text).  River Bend alert messaging (Text_Alert) is RBMC-to-member communication that the General Manager determines is important or time-sensitive.
