Water leak in chlorine station
A few weeks ago we experienced a breakage in the chlorine station and as result of an improperly installed check valve, we lost over 200,000 gallons of water within a short period of time. Since then Chris has repaired several pipes within the station that has been leaking for over a year resulting in the loss of approximately 100 gallons a day and installed check valves in the proper locations as well as additional pipe supports to prevent future breaks going forward. Today, the floor of the chlorine station is dry, MES (Maryland Environmental Service) is extremely pleased with the service and performance of our maintenance staff and has repeatedly provided verbal praise and appreciation to RBMC for our efforts!
