The completion of the rotten seal plate at the ranger station was completed in the last part of 2015 by Re-New services. Re-New services provided RBMC a proposal of $80,000.00 to strip and repair the ranger station. With the combined efforts of Clay, Adam and our representative from Sherwin Williams, we will be able to complete the stripping, sanding and refinishing of the ranger station for a fraction of the cost! Once completed, anyone caught defacing the building by or through writing their names in the wood or any other method of destruction will be prosecuted by RBMC and held liable for the cost of repairs! While the repairs will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $6,000.00, it adds a “taste of elegance” to the park and will ultimately be a contributor to increased property values! The Ranger Station rehab will continue through April and May with an expected completion date by June 1, 2016.
